We’re excited to invite local organizations and individuals to a community planning meeting on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Munger Cottage. We’re working on a very special year with our 2026 Fourth of July celebration and the America 250 Semiquincentennial—and we’d love for you to be part of the fun.
We are seeking your help to celebrate Cornwall “Then and Now” during special events. Together, we can shine a light on Cornwall’s local history and national highlights while celebrating the amazing groups, traditions, and people that have made our town such a vibrant community today. We are reaching out to local educators, performers, sports teams, historians, environmentalists, artists, youth groups, seniors, service organizations, businesses, the faith community, media/publicists, government, clubs and committees, and any interested groups or individuals. This is a great chance to tell your story, have fun, and help bring our shared history to life!
Please feel free to share in advance any ideas or questions. A quick email confirming your attendance would be appreciated—and if you can’t make it, feel free to send your thoughts ahead of time (or even after the meeting)--we’d still love to hear from you.
We’re excited to collaborate, celebrate, and make this a fun, meaningful, and truly memorable year for the whole Cornwall community!
